This story is about my first school basketball game, I was in 8th grade and we were facing Big Lake.

We were up the whole game and I went in at the half. Right away I got a easy layup. My first bucket was so easy I though it was all gonna be like this, but I was very wrong. I got the ball from Cam and I ran straight to the basket, there was someone in the post waiting for me and I just went up with it and he block me so hard I fell to the ground hard, right on my back. He helped me up, says "maybe next time" as I get subbed out Hink tells me I deserved it cause of how dumb I was to go up with it right away.

How to play Basketball

Basketball is a team sport in which two teams, most commonly of five players each, opposing one another on a rectangular court, compete with the primary objective of shooting a basketball through the defender's hoop while preventing the opposing team from shooting through their own hoop. A field goal is worth two points, unless made from behind the three-point line, when it is worth three. After a foul, timed play stops and the player fouled or designated to shoot a technical foul is given one or more one-point free throws. The team with the most points at the end of the game wins, but if regulation play expires with the score tied, an additional period of play is mandated. It could have many out comes but there's only one way to play. You also must know the basics of basketball, like dribbling, shooting form, and IQ of the game.
